Advantage (imidacloprid) is a topical flea killer for dogs applied monthly. Advantage stops biting fleas in three to five minutes and starts to kill adult fleas within an hour after application. Within 12 hours of application, 98-100 percent of fleas are dead. Advantage remains effective even if pet gets wet.

Advantage 10 is available in 0.4 ml applicators for dogs 1-10 lbs (green), Advantage 20 is available in 1.0 ml applicators for dogs 11-20 lbs (teal), Advantage 55 is available in 2.5 ml applicators for dogs 21-55 lbs (red) and Advantage 100 is available in 4.0 ml applicators for dogs 55 lbs and over (blue).
